Inside Luma
Measure
Rest a fingertip over the rear camera and flash for an estimated heart-rate check with live signal-quality guidance.
Understand
Compare consistent seated readings, see recent ranges, and add context such as sleep, caffeine, stress, hydration, or activity.
Experiment
Try a focused series of check-ins, calm resets, Apple Watch sessions, and personal rhythm reviews without turning wellness data into a diagnosis.
Private by design
Luma requires no account, stores readings locally, processes camera frames live without saving them, and has no advertising or tracking in the current configuration.
Help & FAQ

Movement, pressure, temperature, lighting, device hardware, breathing, and fingertip placement can affect the estimate. Follow the in-app guidance and try again at rest.
No. Frames are analyzed live for pulse-related light changes and are not retained as photos or video.
Sit at rest, place a fingertip gently over the camera and flash as shown in the app, keep still, and stop if the phone becomes uncomfortable or the reading feels difficult.
